About Angela

My journey as a life coach began as a high school psychology intern at Camarillo State Hospital in Camarillo, CA. I maintained involvement in the social services and psychology spheres while completing my associate of arts, and later bachelor of science, degrees in southern California. My career as a lightworker and healer spans roles such as clinical case manager, psychiatric technician, residential group home provider, clinical director, and provider of psychotherapy services in community clinical rehabilitation centers, community clinics, private practices, and state institutions across California, Washington, and Arizona.

To quote the mission statement of my alma mater, Pacifica Graduate Institute, “animae mundi colendae gratia” (tending the soul of and in the world) became increasingly my professional purpose. I desired to combine my background in ecology and biology with psychology to focus on the importance of healing the internal and external ecosystem of the human psyche and therefore the world.

Nearing my 25th year in clinical and community practice, I am shifting away from the established medical mindset of mental health into a more positive, holistic, person-centered, and spiritually integrative approach of addressing personal growth and unlocking untapped potential. Rather than focus on maladaptation, I have restructured my life purpose to focus intentionally on what IS possible, and how to utilize these strengths for lifestyle self-improvement and spiritual self-actualization.
